Electronic gadget gifts are the big dogs when it comes to gift giving for two reasons. First, electronics are by far the most popular and in demand products out there today and second, everyone can benefit from owning some sort of gadget because with technology today being so diverse, there are multifunctional electronics for every persons needs.

Which brings me to hand held gadgets like cell phones, media players and small digital cameras. If you have someone on your gift giving list no matter what the occasion than I think it’s safe to say that small electronic gadgets like mp3 players, digital cameras and cell phones or even accessories of these are your best bet.Now you might be thinking that the recipient of your gift already has one of these gadgets. I think it’s safe to say that almost everybody has some sort of electronic device but that is a great thing for you because it tells you that you are going in the right direction. I’ll explain why.

The one thing I know for sure is that anybody that has an media player or small gadget isn’t fully satisfied with it’s capabilities. I don’t care if they have the latest Blackberry or Google phone there is always some feature they want or is still in it’s infancy stage. Technology keeps pushing the envelope so when something new pops up one month than you can expect an updated version from another company a few months down the road. That’s just the way this game is played.Do you see where I am going with this? It doesn’t matter if you have a “hard to buy for”on your list because they are probably your easiest, it’s just the way you look at it.

I always get a little confused when people say “I just don’t know what to get him, he has all the latest electronics - he has everything.” Well where I sit that just tells me that this particular guy likes his gadgets so you have quite a few options at your disposal.

I will use one of my examples to shed some light on this. Last year was my nephew’s eighteenth birthday and trust me when I tell you, this kids got everything. So, I went over to his place a week before his birthday to check out all his gadgets and to get an idea of what to get him. He had a new cell phone, a couple media players, a laptop and a small digital camera. Not to mention that his cell had all these features as well. Any ways I noticed that he did not have all the accessories for his gadgets so I went home and went online to check out all the accessories available for his make and model of electronics. This is what I came up with for a totally cool gift for my nephew.

• A docking station for his media player ($20)
• New photo software for his digital camera ($15)
• Portable speakers for his media player and laptop($20)

This cool gift combo was only $55. Did you see how easy that was? All I did was take the time to see what it was that he was into. Knowing his interests helped me make a precise decision on what to get him. Just remember these few rules when buying for the hard to buy for:

• Know the make and model of the electronic gadget
• Do they like what they have or are they looking at upgrading
• Know the accessories they have to determine what they could use
• Know your budget

Follow these rules and you will be a great hit at Christmas or any special occasion. Electronic gadget gifts make a reasonable choice for gifts in this day and age.Just go with the flow and you’ll be less stressed out when it comes to finding the perfect gift.
